Not quite true, upon George Washington’s death, “Willie” (George Washington’s favorite slave) would be freed.
The rest would be freed when Martha Washington died.
George Washington had well over 300 slaves. If you visit Mount Vernon, located in Northern Virginia, they have the slave quarters open to the public (with a walking tour fee).

Abraham body guard was Ward Hill Lamon not John Parker
John W. Booth, after the assassination, left on a horse. I just found out that the man that held the horse was Edwin Spangler, I am in relation to Ed.
